Busy week this week teaching at mini camp. But a quick Tuesday’s Tip!

Remember the key to a good training regime is repetition. Keep each session involving a new thing fairly short (perhaps put the new training concept at the end of your session) and once you have achieved or got closer to your goal then leave it at that. Come back to it the next time you ride, again keep it short – ask for a bit more and then stop. Repeat this every session until your horse has learned the new concept and is getting better at it.
If you ask for too much or to do the new concept for too long, this will negatively affect your horse. Short, sweet and repeat!
