Long leg

Absolutely brilliant lesson to finish off the day today. Worked on lengthening the rider’s leg and securing it during transitions and canter. Worked on the horse’s canter and balance round corners – hard work! By the end of our hour we had a lovely long leg that was much more secure and effective! Schooling in the cold

Lovely morning schooling a gorgeous little sec A. He’s coming on leaps and bounds and much more understanding of the leg. We got some great turns, some 20m circles in trot with hardly any falling out and even some great walk and trot past the school gate! Onwards and upwards! I was very jealous of his thick winter fluff – the wind was absolutely freezing! 🙂
